Obituary of Dorothy West
Dorothy I. West, 92, of Palm City, Florida passed away on October 21, 2011. She was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on May 08, 1919. Mrs. West had been a resident of Palm City since 1982, coming from Milwaukee. She had retired from the health care business as a communications supervisor. She was an accomplished artist and loved to read and travel.
Mrs. West was preceded in death by her loving husband, Gordon N. West, in 1997; as well as a sister, Maxine Anderson.
Survivors include her daughter, Delores J. Uhle of Palm City; son, Norris D. West of Concord, North Carolina; as well as 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
A graveside committal service will be held on Saturday, November 05, 2011 at 11:00AM at Forest Hills Memorial Park Cemetery in Palm City.
