Dorothy "Dottie" Zink, 70, of Port St. Lucie passed away August 31, 2018. She was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY and had been a resident of Port St. Lucie for 13 years having relocated from Miami. Before retiring, she worked as a distribution manager in the flooring industry. She was a member of Morningside Church in Port St. Lucie.

Dorothy was full of life. She was fun loving, outgoing, and had a big and generous heart. Some of her many enjoyments included going to Moms-Retreat in NC, entertaining, dancing, going to the beach, playing cards, watching scary movies, and being in the outdoors. She was also known as "Momma Goat" to the many who knew they could count on her to be loving, caring, welcoming, good to for guidance, support, and advice, but also knew she wouldn't hesitate to straighten them out if needed. She touched many lives and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her son, Rick Tietjen, of Port St. Lucie; sister, Margaret Wheeler, and brother-in-law, Bill Wheeler, of Long Island, NY; niece, Stacey, and nephew, Chris, of Long Island, NY; as well as extended family

She was predeceased by her daughter, Kathy Tietjen; and grandson, Zachary Tietjen.

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 29, 2018, at Forest Hills Funeral Home, Palm City Chapel.
