Doug Brimlow, beloved husband, friend and neighbor, passed away on

October 9, 2024, in Stuart, Florida, after a long illness.

Doug was born on September 29, 1946 to the late Walter and Lillian

Brimlow. He was raised in Levittown, New York and graduated from

Levittown Memorial H.S. He joined the Nassau County Police Department

in 1968 and served as a sergeant in the Marine Bureau until he retired in

1996.

Doug is survived by Patricia Brimlow, his wife of 49 years his two brothers,

Stuart and Peter Brimlow, their wives, Andrea and Linda, his brother-in -

law, John his wife Grace and dozens of cherished nieces and nephews also

mourn his passing.

He was a member of Monarch Country Club for 27 years where he enjoyed

playing tennis, golf, riding his bike and giving treats to all the dogs in

Monarch. Doug had a full and active life enjoying traveling around the

world and spending time with cherished family and friends.

He was an active member and volunteer for the charity, Caring Children

Clothing Children, the 4Cs for 26 years, Monarch Country Club HOA and

served on the Advisory Board of Monarch Country Club.

His celebration of life will be held at Forest Hills Memorial Park, 2001 SW

Murphy Road on Tuesday October 22, 2024. The viewing will start at 12

noon with the service immediately following. In lieu of flowers, please send
