Obituary of Douglas Lentine

Douglas Michael Lentine, 54, of Palm City, died March 10, 2011 at Jackson Memorial Medical Center in Miami. He was born in Brooklyn, NY and had been a resident of Palm City for 9 years, having moved from New York City. He was retired from the New York City Police Department, and had been a Detective Sergeant before retiring. He most recently had worked for Direct Insurance and was the Director of fraud investigations. He was a member of the National Lodge Fraternal Order of Police, and a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Palm City.

He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Maribel Rosado Lentine of Palm City; daughter, Elena Lentine of Palm City; son, Michael Lentine of Palm City; and sisters, Roberta Keohane of Staten Island, NY, Leslie Sciarillo of Staten Island, NY and Deidre Nieprzecki of Chesterfield, VA.

Visitation: Monday, March 14, 2011, 2:00 - 4:00PM and 6:00 - 8:30PM, at Forest Hills Funeral Homes, Palm City Chapel.

Mass of Christian Burial: 10:00AM , Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Palm City.

Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City.
