Douglas Charles Wolfmueller, beloved husband, father, brother, friend, passed peacefully at his home October 15, 2023.

Doug was born 7-29-45 in Buffalo, NY. Doug left a career in banking and moved his young family to Florida in 1977 to take up a new career in broadcasting. He spent the next 30 years in West Palm Beach before retiring as the General Sales Manager of WPEC Channel 12.

Doug was adventurous and loved taking his family off the beaten path, from snorkeling in the Keys to rafting the Snake River. Doug loved the outdoors and spent many days fishing, boating, diving, and treasure hunting on area beaches with his metal detectors. He proudly taught all the kids, grandkids, cousins, and friends how to fish. He was the rock of his family. He was proud, kind, honest, principled, charismatic, admired and respected.

He was well loved and will be missed dearly by his wife of 55 years, Michele, his son Doug M Wolfmueller(Julie), daughter Kathleen McBay(Chris), his five grandchildren, Doug Jr, Victoria, Taylor, Morgan, and Kiely, his four surviving sisters Paula, Lynne, Carol, and Barbara, as well as his many lifelong friends and coworkers.

A memorial mass will be held 11/16/23 at 12pm, St Patrick Catholic Church, 13591 Prosperity Farms Rd, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33410.
