Obituary of Dwain Harper

Dr. Dwain L. Harper, 73, of Stuart, died January 14, 2011 at Martin Memorial Medical Center. He was born in Massillon, OH, spent most of his life in Ohio, but moved to Stuart 28 years ago from NJ. Before retirement, he was a certified pediatrician with a practice in Columbus, OH. After retiring he became the executive director of the Greater Cleveland Health Quality Choice Coalition. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Joann M. Harper of Stuart; daughter, Amy Harper of Altamonte Springs, FL; a son, Scott Harper (Kate Murray) of Lincolnshire, IL; and three grandchildren, Ryan, Sarah and Grace. Services will be private.
