Earl Wesley Baker, 73, of Port St. Lucie, Florida went to be with his Lord on June 6, 2018.

Born in Spotswood, New Jersey he had been a resident of Port St. Lucie for 12 years coming from Jackson, NJ. During the Vietnam War he served in the U.S. Army.  Before retiring he was a computer specialist with Dupont Corporation for 32 years and Computer Sciences Corporation for 10 years. He was a member of and Deacon with the Port St. Lucie Bible Church.  He also volunteered with the Port St. Lucie CDD and on the community patrol with the Port St. Lucie Police Department.

Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Gail T. Baker; his daughter Tara Lynn Steele of Palm City; his son Adam Matthew Baker and his wife Mitka of Fairfax Station, VA; his grandchildren, Arya Baker and Noah Steele; his brothers, Alan Baker and his wife Linda of Parlin, NJ and Clyde Baker of Jackson, NJ and his sister, Shirley Burlew and her husband Gary of North Brunswick, NJ.  He was preceded in death by his sister Debbie Craft.

Visitation will be from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at the Forest Hills Funeral Home Palm City, FL with a funeral service at 7:00 PM.
