Obituary of Edward Clair, Sr.
Edward James Clair Sr., 83, of Stuart, passed away June 4, 2015. He was born in Brooklyn, NY and had been a resident of Stuart since 1971, having moved from his birthplace. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy having served during the Korean War. He was the owner of Gateway Homes in Stuart, and he also was a boat captain. He was of the Catholic faith.
He is survived by his daughters; Julia Clair of Manhattan, NY, Kathleen McCullum of Hobe Sound; son, Edward J. Clair Jr of Stuart; grandchildren, Gabriel Feldman, Shelby Birnbaum, Rayna Birnbaum, Aliya Birnbaum, Frank Clair, and Alyson Clair; step-grandson, Ottie McCullum IV, and wife, Barbara A. Clair.
He was predeceased by his daughter, Geralyn Birnbaum.
Visitation: 12:00-2:00PM, Monday, June 8, 2015 at Forest Hills Funeral Home, Palm City Chapel.
Funeral service immediately following visitation.
Burial will take place in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
