Obituary of Edward Ferreri
Edward F. Ferreri, 87, of Stuart, FL, died January 22, 2013.
Born in Brooklyn, New York, he had been a long time resident of Stuart.
During World War II he served in the U.S. Army and was of the Catholic Faith.
For years, many sought his skills as a self-employed plastic injection molding engineer. He was commissioned for projects with many local businesses, including the Fire Department, and as well as global companies such as Becton Dickinson and Kraft.
He loved taking his family and friends on the boat down the Hutchinson River and always stopping for a hot dog at Sailfish Point. He was a character on the golf course as well, always with a joke and a smile. His kindness and compassion will be greatly missed.
Survivors include his wife, Susan Ferreri of Stuart; daughters, Lisa Bowman of Palm Beach, Florida, Diane Wakefield of Syracuse, NY, Janet Ferreri of Hopkinton, Mass, Joanne Jupiter of Hollywood, FL Diane Jupiter of Naples, FL and son David Jupiter of Locust Grove, GA; a brother, Nicholas Ferreri of Hobe Sound, FL; eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
SERVICES: Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM on January 26, 2013 at Forest Hills Funeral Homes Palm City Chapel. Services will be at 1:00 PM with Father Jack Barrow of St. Andrew Catholic Church, Stuart officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City with military honors.
