Edward James Fox, Sr., 89, of Palm City, FL, passed away on September 22, 2016 at the Stuart Manor in Stuart, FL.
Born in Brooklyn, NY he had been a resident of Palm City, FL for 18 years coming from Northport, L.I., N.Y.
During World War II he served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church and the Monarch Country Club, Palm City.
Before retiring he was in sales and marketing for New York Telephone/ATT&T in New York for many years.
Survivors include his sons, Edward J. Fox Jr. and his wife, Pamela of Chester Springs, PA, James Fox and his wife, Caryn of Kings Park, NY, Michael Fox of Stuart and Terence Fox and his wife, Linda of New Canaan, CT; two grandchildren; his niece, Ann Marie Cartwright and his nephew, Fr. John Sullivan. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary T. Fox in 2014 and his brother, Thomas and James Fox and his sister, Mary Sullivan.
Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Friday, September 23, 2016 at the Forest Hills Funeral Homes Palm City, FL. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Stuart. Military honors will be provided by the U.S. Marine Corps.
