Obituary of Eileen Farrell

Farrell, Eileen Marie - In Port St. Lucie, FL on May 9, 2012, at the age of 81. Survived by James Farrell, husband of 61years, and children, David Farrell of S.I. and James Farrell of San Francisco. She has five grandchildren, three nieces and two nephews. Jim and her great friend, Rolda Charles, were with her when she passed away peacefully from a wonderful life and long battle with Alzheimer's. Eileen was preceded in death by her parents, Jacob and Marie Heinbucher, and her sister Ruth Schall. A S.I. native, she was a graduate of New Dorp H.S., a member of Trinity Lutheran and a supporter of S.I. Hospital. Jim and Eileen met as high school sweethearts, a basketball star and a cheerleader, never looking back. She was once a Wall Street Journal employee and loved time with her family, golf (always played fast), cooking, entertaining, bridge, reading, bowling, Skytop, Hawaii, Bermuda, California and Florida. She was quick with a smile and a true lady. Eileen is the inspiration for her family, will be dearly missed and always remembered. A service was held for her in Palm City, FL.
