On Friday, March 6, 2020, Eleanor L. Post, amazing wife and mother of four, passed away at the age of 83.

Eleanor was born on June 20, 1936, in Seneca Falls, New York to Romoyne and Genevieve Platten.  She grew up in Tyre, New York then later met her husband, Carl S. Post.  They spent over 46 wonderful years together with the last 25 years in Jensen Beach, Florida.  Eleanor had a passion for cooking, canning, traveling and NASCAR.  She loved attending church, spending time with family and friends, and long walks.

Eleanor was preceded in death by her father, Romoyne, and  her mother, Genevieve.  She is survived by her husband, Carl, her four children, Gregory (Lucy) Sherman, Cynthia (Jay) Fuller, David (Melodie) Post, and Jeffrey (Jo-Anne) Post; her sister Joyce (Pete) Peterson, grandchildren Katie Sherman, Genevieve Giarrusso, Josephine Giarrusso, Michael (Katie) Post, Jennifer (Josh) Schecter, Alex Post, April (Steve) Twarkins, and six great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2020, from 12 noon to 1 PM at Forest Hills Funeral Home in Palm City, Florida, followed by a Celebration of Life Ceremony at 1 PM and graveside service.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to the Alzheimer's Association.
