Obituary of Eleanor Smith
Eleanor K. Smith, 71, of Palm City, passed away April 8, 2008 at the Madeira Hospice House in Stuart. She was born April 15, 1936 in New York City, NY. She had been a resident of Palm City and Stuart for 12 years, moving from Beaumont, TX. She was a member of the Stuart First United Methodist Church, an active volunteer for Volunteers in Medicine, and the American Red Cross.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, John P. Smith of Palm City; daughters, Karen Hryhorchuk of Del Rio, TX and Suzanne Langdon of Princeton, NJ; a son, Brian D. Smith of San Antonio, TX; a sister, Carolyn Wilburn of St. Petersburg; seven grandchildren and two great granddaughters.
A Funeral service will be held at 10:00AM, Saturday at the Stuart First United Methodist Church, 1500 S Kanner Hwy, Stuart.
Entombment will be private at Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City.
Memorial contributions may be made to: The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, 4360 Northlake Blvd., Suite 109, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33410-6265 in Eleanors memory.
Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Hills Funeral Home, Palm City.
