Obituary of Elizabeth Elasik
Elizabeth Elasik, 91, of Port St. Lucie, passed away at her residence August 26, 2009. She was born in Carteret, NJ, and had been a resident of Port St. Lucie since 1980, having moved from West Islip, Long Island, NY. She had been a bookkeeper for Abraham & Strauss Dept. Store in Bablylon, NY, before retiring in 1978. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Babylon for 30 years. She was of the protestant faith.
She is survived by her son, William Elasik Jr. of Cleveland, GA; her daughter, Barbara Fulle of Pittsford, NY; four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Elasik Sr.; her sister, Helen Hajek; and her brother, Stephen Sera.
Visitation will be 1:00 - 2:00PM, Wednesday at Forest Hills Funeral Homes, Palm City Chapel, with a prayer service at 2:00PM.
Interment will follow immediately in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 865 SE Monterey Commons Blvd, Stuart, FL 34996, in Elizabeth's memory.
