Emelicia (Millie) Mizio (86), of Dunedin, FL passed away on May 23 ^rd , 2021. She fought a long hard battle with Parkinson's disease, but she eventually found peace.

She is survived by her daughters: Denise Mizio Gandolfo, and Pamela Jeanne Mizio Rask; her grandchildren Cayla Gandolfo, Nicholas Gandolfo, Megan Rask, Lucas Gandolfo, and Marjorie Rask and great grandson Jeno Rask.

She was preceded in death by her parents Fidias and Jeno Berkovits.

Emelicia worked diligently to obtain her Doctorate Degree in Social Work and became a professor and Chairperson at several Universities. In addition, she was a published author who strived to help the Puerto Rican Community.

A private service will be held for her at Forest Hills Palm City, FL.
