Obituary of Erna Meeuwen

Age 78, of Port St. Lucie, Florida died on March 6, 2008. Mrs. Meeuwen was born on July 13, 1929 in Batavia, Dutch East Indies (now known as Jakarta, Indonesia). She moved to Holland in 1952 and then emigrated with her family to the United States in 1962. Mrs. Meeuwen had been an area resident since 1980. She was a very active member in the Port St.

Lucie Bible Church and was an avid volunteer for many concerns. She was predeceased by her husband Adolph L.

Meeuwen in 1996.

Survivors include one daughter Monique (Fernando) Santos of Hawaii, four sons; Gustav Gus Meeuwen of Holland, Arthur Meeuwen of Kent, Ohio, Louis Ricky

(Margaret) Meeuwen of Crystal Lake, Illinois, Stanley Larry (Carol) Meeuwen of Stuart, FL, ten grandchildren; Jason, Aynsley, Rudi, Izadora, Matthew, Christopher, Andrew, Samuel, Fernando Jr. and Leisa.

Also surviving are three great grandchildren; Desmond, Garrett and Isaac.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 13, 2008 at Forest Hills Funeral Home,

2001 SW Murphy Road, Palm City, FL. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park. A visitation will be held at the Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 12, 2008 from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. A guest registry may be signed at www.forresthillsfunerals.com
