Ernest R. Schaal, 82, of Palm City, FL, passed away on December 11, 2016 at his home.

Born in Bronx, NY, he had been a resident of Palm City for 20 years coming from
College Point, NY.

Prior to retiring he had been a Certified Public Accountant and was the comptroller of Grace Institute. He also was a minister with the New Apostolic Church.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Rosemarie Schaal; his children, Michael Schaal, Anita Schaal and Randy Schaal; his grandchildren, Daniel Schaal, Matthew Schaal, Andrew Schaal and Amanda Schaal and his great grandchild, Jax Schaal.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Forest Hills Funeral Home, Palm City.
