Obituary of Esko Lahti

Esko J. Lahti, 78, of Stuart, FL, passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at the Treasure Coast Hospice, Hay-Madeira House, Stuart.

Born in Helsinki, Finland he had been a resident of Stuart for 16 years coming from Great Neck, NY where he was a resident for 29 years coming from Helsinki.

Before retiring, he was carpenter working in heavy construction in the New York City metropolitan area. He was a member of both the New York City and New Jersey Carpenters' Unions.

Survivors include his wife, Tuula Lahti of Stuart; his daughter, Sari Rouhi and her husband Mohammed of Hobe Sound, FL; his son, Tomi Lahti and his wife Sharon of Palm Beach Gardens, FL; his grandchildren, Rami Rouhi, Zakaria Rouhi, Tarik Rouhi and Austin Lahti; a brother, Risto Lahti of Helsinki and a niece, Satu Lahti.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Matti Lahti.

There will be a memorial service at 12:00 Noon on July 4, 2015 at the Forest Hills Funeral Home, Palm City.
