Obituary of Estelle Adler
Estelle Adler, 94 of Palm Beach Gardens, FL passed away on Friday, December 6, 2013 at St. Mary's Medical Center, West Palm Beach.
Born in New York, New York she had been a resident of Jensen Beach, FL and Palm Beach County for many years.
During World War II she served in the US Army, Women's Army Corps.
She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Hunter College and her master's degree from Columbia University and was proceeding toward her doctorate at Columbia University teacher's college.
Prior to retiring she had been an education rehabilitation specialist with the U.S. Government.
She was a former member of Temple Beth Israel, Port St. Lucie, FL and Hadassah.
Survivors include sons, David Adler of Burke, VA, Robert Adler of California, MD and Albert Adler of Manchester, NJ; a daughter Susan Karsh of Manchester, NJ and grandchildren, Daniel Adler, Sarah Adler, Rachel Adler and Tracy Adler. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Adler and a brother Seymour Plonsky.
SERVICES: There will be a graveside service on Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City, FL.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Forest Hills Funeral Homes Palm City Chapel.
