Obituary of Esther Weaver
Much-loved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, Esther M. "Peggy" Weaver, 66, of Palm City, Florida, passed away suddenly on August 3, 2012 in the hospital surrounded by her family.
Born in South Bend, Indiana, and raised in Niles, Michigan until the age of 10 at which time her family moved to Florida. She had been a resident of Palm City for 23 years coming from the Plantation/Fort Lauderdale area.
She was a homemaker and active member of the Palm City Prebyterian Church where she volunteered in the Children's Ministry and Awanas. She also served on the Board of Directors of the Palm City Farms Trail Association. She was one of the founders of the The Plantation Acres Saddle Club and was always a very active supporter of the riding clubs in Martin/ St. Lucie counties.
Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Mahlon "Mel" Weaver of Palm City; daughter Regena Winchell & husband Mark of Jensen Beach, Florida; son, Mahlon "Jerry" Weaver Jr. of Stuart, Florida; step daughter, Cheryl Raven & husband Brett of Lexington, South Carolina; stepson, Chuck Updegraff of Candler, North Carolina; two brothers; Donald & Ronald, five sisters; Ruth Ellen, Maxine, Gloria, Patricia, Suzzette, six grandchildren; Christina, Mark, Crystal, Katie, Chad, Cody, three great-grandchildren; Mea, Leevie and Logan. She was preceded in death by her parents: Eric & Ernestine Heide and five siblings; Gene, Phyllis, Bruce, Ruth and Louise.
SERVICES: There will be a memorial service at 11:00 AM on August 18, 2012 at Palm City Presbyterian Church.
