Eudocio Ortiz, 82, of Port St. Lucie, FL, passed away on Monday, April 18, 2016 at his home.

Born in Aguas Buenas, Puerto Rico, he had been a resident of Port St. Lucie for over 30 years coming from Massachusetts.

Before retiring he worked for Englehard Industries in Plainville, MA.

He was of the Catholic Faith.

Survivors include his daughters, Hilda Ortiz and her husband Alfredo Toledo of Aguas Buenas, Adelaida Ortiz of Paterson, NJ, Renee Colon and her husband Nelson of Port St. Lucie; his sons, Raul Ortiz and his wife Maria S. of Hartford, CT, Jesus Ortiz and his wife Luz A. Martinez of Aguas Buenas, Javier Ortiz of Boston, MA and Eudocio Ortiz of Aguas Buenas and 15 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Secundina Ortiz and 6 siblings.

Services and burial will be in Aguas Buenas, PR under the direction of the Funeraria Monte Santo.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Forest Hills Funeral Home, Palm City.
