Obituary of Eugene Morrissette

Eugene L. Morrissette, 74, of Palm City, Florida, died October 18, 2007 at his residence.

Born in Fall River, Massachusetts, he had been a resident of Palm City for 49 years coming from Miami, Florida.

Before retiring he had been a supermarket manager, working for Winn Dixie, formerly Quick Check for 17 years and Grand Union for over 35 years, 14 years of which in Stuart, FL.

He was a member of Stuart Congregational Church, Stuart, FL, Lions Clubs International and the Stuart Coffee Club.

Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Karen Morrissette of Palm City; sons, Larry Morrissette of Palm City, Gary Morrissette of Mineola, FL, Michael Morrissette of Palm City, Bryce Taylor of Portland, OR, Kent Taylor of Geneva, IL and Robert Heaton of St. Augustine, FL; brothers Ronald Morrissette of Grand Ledge, MI, Robert Morrissette of Henderson, NV and Andy Morrissette of Riesel, TX; sisters Lorraine Soars of Portsmouth, RI and Pauline Axile of Margate, FL and 9 grandchildren.

SERVICES: Visitation will be October 23, 2007 from 12:00 Noon to 2:00 PM at the Stuart Congregational Church with a funeral service at 2:00 PM. Interment will be 10:00 AM October 24, 2007 at Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Forest Hills Funeral Home, Palm City.
