Eugene Portuallo, 91, of Jensen Beach, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Sunday, March 17, 2019.

Eugene was born on July 11, 1927 in New York city.  He married his lovely wife, Marie, 61 years ago.  They honeymooned in Miami Beach and decided to create a family in South Florida.  He will be missed by his wife, his three children, Gina, Thomas and Denise, his seven grandchildren, and his two great grandchildren with a third on the way.

Gene was devoted to his family and community.  He was a retired District Insurance Manager and a Grand Knight with the Knights of Columbus.  Gene was an accomplished musician and a member of the Stuart and Port St. Lucie Community Bands.

A Catholic Mass will take place on Thursday, March 21, 2019 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, in Stuart, at 10:00AM.
