Obituary of Eugene Riso

Eugene R. Riso, 87, of Palm City, Florida, died October 16, 2010 at his residence.

Born in the Bronx, New York, he had been a resident of Palm City for the 4 years coming from Tequesta, Florida. He moved to Florida in 1993, coming from Bedford, New York.

During World War II, he served in the United States Army.

Before retiring, in 1986, he worked for Mobil Oil Corporation for 30 years. Prior to that, he was a CPA with the accounting firm of Arthur Anderson.

He was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, and the Monarch Country Club, Palm City.

He was preceded in death by his wife Agnes Kiernan Riso and a son Jonathan P. Riso.

Survivors include sons, Eugene R. Riso, Jr. of Port St. Lucie, FL, David A. Riso of Fairfax, VA, Paul G. Riso of Fort Lauderdale, FL and Thomas A. Riso of Jupiter, FL; daughter, Kathleen M. Riso of Palm City; a sister Jacqueline Graczyk of Hamilton Square, New Jersey; 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM October 18, 2010 at Forest Hills Funeral Home - Palm City Chapel with a Vigil Prayer service at 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on October 19, 2010 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Entombment will follow at Riverside Memorial Park, Tequesta, FL.
