Obituary of Eugene Santagada

Eugene A. Santagada, 88, of Palm City, passed away August 18, 2013 at Treasure Coast Hospice in Stuart, with his family by his side. He was born in Newark, NJ and in 1986, he moved to Palm City from Newark. Eugene was a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served during WWII. He had been an outside salesperson for medical equipment before retirement. He was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, a 3rd degree honorary member of the Knights of Columbus in Stuart and a former member of Martin Downs Country Club and Evergreen Country Club.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Marie Santagada of Palm City; daughter, Gena Hagler of Palm City; son, John Santagada of Lawrenceville, GA and granddaughter, Brooke Rodriguez of Decatur, GA.

Mass: 11:00AM, Friday, August 23, 2013 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Palm City.
