Obituary of Ferdinando Pierno
Ferdinando "Fred" Pierno Jr., 55, of Port St. Lucie, died February 25, 2009 at his residence. He was born in Brooklyn, NY and had been a resident of Port St. Lucie for 18 years, moving from his birthplace. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving during the Vietnam Era. He was a firefighter for the Martin County Fire and Rescue for 18 years, and was a Hazmat Technician on the department. He was of the Catholic faith.
He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Pierno of San Diego, CA; brothers, Anthony Pierno of Ozone Park, NY and Louis Pierno of Port St. Lucie. He was preceded in death by his parents, Nancy and Ferdinando Pierno Sr.
Visitations: 2 - 4:00PM and 6 - 8:00PM Saturday and Sunday at Forest Hills Funeral Homes, Palm City Chapel.
Mass of Christian Burial: 11:30AM, Monday at St. Martin de Porres in Jensen Beach.
Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City.
