Obituary of Florence Cerrone
Florence A. Cerrone 83, of Palm City, Florida, died May 25, 2011at Treasure Coast Hospice Hay-Madeira House, Stuart.
Born in Jersey City, New Jersey, she had been a resident of Palm City for 8 years coming from Fort Lauderdale-Miami area. She had been a Florida resident for 46 years coming from Teaneck, New Jersey.
She was a homemaker. She was also a national spokesperson and fundraiser for the National Kidney Foundation. She was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Palm City and the Palm Cove Women's Club
Survivors include sons, Vincent L. Cerrone and his wife Dorothy of Pembroke Pines, Florida and Robert A. Cerrone and his wife Deborah of Coral Springs, Florida; daughter, Donna Alexander and her husband Gary of Palm City; a sister, Ruth Walsh of North Plainfield, New Jersey; a brother, Joseph E. Kucinski of Salisbury, North Carolina; four grandchildren, Vincent, Jayson, Nicole and Michael and three great grandchildren, Thomas, Liam and Claire.
She was preceded in death by her husband Nicholas Anthony Cerrone.
SERVICES: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on May 27, 2011at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Inurnment will be at a later date in Miami.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Forest Hills Funeral Homes Palm City Chapel.
