Obituary of Florence Kandybowitz
FLORENCE KANDYBOWITZ
Age 85, of Hobe Sound, Florida died on September 30, 2007 at her residence. Mrs. Kandybowitz was born on October 11, 1921 in Brooklyn, NY to Stephen and Mary (Morelli) Bullock. She came to Jacksonville, FL in 1982 from Lakewood, NJ and then retired to Hobe Sound, FL in 1985. Mrs. Kandybowitz was a member of St. James Russian Orthodox Church in Port St. Lucie, FL. She retired from AT&T after many years of service where she was a supervisor in the division of stocks and bonds. Mrs. Kandybowitz was an avid card player and loved to travel. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother.
Survivors include 3 daughters, Barbara Joyce Isaksen of Sebastapol, CA, Valerie (Janis) Kristbergs of Forked River, NJ and Lenore ( Jeff) Ekblom of Tavernier, FL, 6 grandchildren, Amanda, Marissa, Viktoria and Karijana Kristbergs, Natalie and Roxanne Ekblom.
A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday (Today) October 4, 2007 at Forest Hills Funeral Home, 2001 SW Murphy Road, Palm City, FL, 34990, with the Reverend James Mason officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park. A visitation will be held on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Treasure Coast Hospices, 1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart, FL 34997. A guest registry may be signed at www.foresthillsfunerals.com
