Obituary of Floresta Tiberi

Floresta Tiberi, 90, of Jensen Beach, FL, died February 14, 2013 in Port St. Lucie, FL.

Born in Introdacqua, Italy, a resident of Jensen Beach for 14 years coming from Somerville, MA.

Before retiring she had been a seamstress with ILGWU Local 24 in Boston for over 25 years.

She had attended St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church, Jensen Beach and previous member of the Sons of Italy in Arlington, MA.

Survivors include sons, Peter Tiberi of Deerfield Beach, FL and Joseph Tiberi and his wife Donna of Somerville, MA; a daughter, Maria Grasso and her husband Salvatore of Jensen Beach, FL; a sister, Maria Gamez and her husband John of Arlington, MA; four grandchildren, Christopher Tiberi and his wife Richelle of Billerica, MA, Michelle Grigg and her husband Jimmy of Derry, NH, Joseph Grasso and his wife Jamie of Arlington, MA and Cristina Grasso of Port St. Lucie, FL; two great grandchildren, Madelyn and Michael Tiberi and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Baldino Tiberi; a son Dominic Tiberi and brothers, Cesidio Zafferano and Alfonso Zafferano.

SERVICES: Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 PM on February 20, 2013 at the Forest Hills Funeral Homes Palm City Chapel with a Vigil Prayer Service at 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on February 21, 2013 at the St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church, Jensen Beach. Entombment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City.
