Francis J. Killian, 91, of Palm City, FL, passed away on December 12, 2016 at his residence.

Born in Pittsburgh, PA he had been a Florida resident for 54 years coming from East Hartford, CT.

During World War II he served in the US Army Air Corp.

Before retiring he was an aeronautical engineer with Pratt-Whitney in Hartford, CT and West Palm Beach, FL. He was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Palm City.

Survivors include his wife, Janet Killian; his children, Cynthia Whiting of Stuart, FL, Laurel Kelly of Stuart, FL, Michael Kress of Ormond Beach, FL, Jerome Kress of North Palm Beach, FL, Laura Killian of Ann Arbor, MI, Denise V of West Palm Beach, FL, Susan Dawson of Pensacola, FL and Eileen Killian of Lake Park, FL; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Services will be private.
