Francis Vincent Reilly, 91, died on February 5, 2020 at his home in Stuart, Florida.

Vince was born on October 31, 1928 in Brooklyn, NY to Francis Vincent and Helen Marie Reilly. After graduating from St. Francis College in Brooklyn, he began his career in the actuarial department of the Mutual Insurance Rating Bureau in Manhattan. He left New York for Washington, DC where he became the Deputy Administrator and Chief Actuary of the Federal Insurance Administration and was instrumental in the development National Flood Insurance Program.

Vince and his wife Pat retired to Florida, where he was able to indulge his love of swimming and bodysurfing. He was very active in his community at the Charter Club, serving several terms as president of the homeowners association.

Vince is survived by his daughters Mary Fanning, Sharon Reilly, and Diane Reilly; his sister Kathleen Reilly; and his grandchildren Michelle, Sarah, Bella, Jonah, and Dylan. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Pat.

Visitation for Vince will be on Monday February 10, 2020 from 11:00 am until time of prayer services at 1 P.M. at Forest Hills Funeral Home, 2001 SW Murphy Rd, Palm City, FL 34990. Memorial mass will be celebrated on Monday February 24, 2020 at 10 A.M. at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Palm City with committal services to immediately follow mass at Forest Hills Memorial Park.
