Obituary of Francisca Ruiz
Francisca Portal Ruiz, 75, of Port St. Lucie, passed away with her family by her side, August 19, 2013 at Treasure Coast Hospice in Fort Pierce. She was born in Cuba and moved to the United States in 1965. She has been a resident of Port St. Lucie for 1 ½ years, having moved from Brandon. She had been a chef before retirement. She was a loving mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her daughters, Neysa Ruiz of Port St. Lucie and Andrea Portilla of Tampa; son, Demetrio "Eddie" Portilla of Tampa; sisters, Maria Vergara of Key West, Fina of Tennessee and Raquel of Cuba; brother, Abraham Oliva of Miami; 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Visitation: 12:00PM - 2:00 PM, Saturday, August 24, 2013 at Forest Hills Funeral Homes, Palm City Chapel.
Service to follow immediately at 2:00PM in the Chapel, with Pastor Franklin officiating.
