Frank F. Azzaro, 89, of Port St. Lucie, FL, passed away on September 10, 2016 at the St. Lucie Medical Center, Port St. Lucie.
Born in Trenton, NJ, be had been a resident of Port St. Lucie for 25 years coming from Richmond Hill, NY.
During World War II he served in the US Army.
Before retiring he was a maintenance man for the Dollar Dry Dock Bank in New York City.
He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and a former member of the Sons of Italy in Port St. Lucie.
Survivors include his sons, Stephen Azzaro and his wife Linda of Port St. Lucie and Vincent Azzaro and his wife Gracann of Monroe, NY and 3 granddaughters, Christina Azzaro, Monica Azzaro and Elizabeth Azzaro. He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Assunta Azzaro in 2015 and his brother, Onofrio Azzaro.
Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at the Forest Hills Funeral Home, Palm City, FL with a prayer service at 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, September 21 at Holy Family Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City with military honors provided by the US Army.
