Frank Joseph Caparelli
(October 1, 1936 - February 19, 2017)

Frank Caparelli died peacefully with his loving family by his side on Sunday, February 19th, 2017 in Stuart. He was widowed by Sandra Caparelli, his wife of 54 years. He is survived by his sister, Molly Holtje of Cooperstown, NY; his children, Michael Caparelli of Los Angeles, CA; Debbie Alvord and her husband Mark Alvord of Stuart, FL; Kenneth Caparelli of Palm City, FL; Cathleen Caparelli of Stuart, FL; and granddaughters, Jessica Alvord of Stuart, FL and Brittany Alvord of Stuart, FL.

He was born in Englewood, NJ to Michael Caparelli and Estelle Stahoula. From an early age he was a car enthusiast and a lifelong member of the Road Barons of New Jersey. He was also a member of the New Jersey National Guard. In Englewood, New Jersey, he met the love of his life, Sandra Coughlin, at the Grand Diner. He walked her home five miles and they were inseparable ever since.

Frank became a resident of Martin County in 1976. He was a landscape developer, building contractor, and realtor. He was an active member in the community participating with the Barn Theater, the Sons of Italy, MADD and the Democratic Club of Martin County.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Treasure Coast Hospice/Mayes Center for Hope, 1201 SE Indian St., Stuart, FL 34997. Both a memorial viewing on Friday, February 24th from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and a funeral service with a graveside burial immediately following on Saturday, February 25th at 1:30 PM will be held in the Forest Hills Palm City Chapel, 2001 SW Murphy Rd., Palm City, FL 34990.
