Obituary of Frank Farrow
Frank Charles Farrow, 83, died Wednesday, October 10, 2007 at Parkway Health & Rehab Center in Stuart.
Born in New York, NY, he moved to Port St. Lucie in 1999 from Yonkers, NY.
He was a retired self-employed dress contractor.
He was an Army veteran of World War II, serving in five major battles. He was awarded the European African Middle Eastern Service Medal; Good Conduct Medal; Purple Heart; and World War II Victory Medal.
He was a member of BPOE Lodge 2658.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Anita of Port St. Lucie; sons, Dr. Charles Joseph Farrow and wife Arlene of Sewalls Point and Frank Charles Farrow, Jr of Seattle, WA; daughter, Vanda Jo Farrow of Matthews, NC; grandchildren, Christopher Farrow of New York, NY and Tyra Farrow of Forest Park, IL; and brother, Leo A. Farrow, Port St. Lucie.
He was preceded in death by his grandson, Charles Anthony Farrow and brother, Salvatore Farruggio.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Treasure Coast Hospices, Inc., 1201 SE Indian St., Stuart, FL 34996.
Services: Calling hours will be 9 AM to 11 AM, Saturday, October 13, 2007 at Forest Hills Funeral Home in Palm City. Committal services and entombment will follow with honors provided by the American Legion Post 318 of Port St. Lucie and the Florida National Guard.
