Obituary of Frank Picano
Frank Picano, 94, of Port St. Lucie, Florida, passed away on Monday, April 27, 2015 at the Treasure Coast Hospice, Fort Pierce.
He was born in Highland Park, Michigan but had grown up in Italy. He had been a resident of Port St. Lucie for over 20 years coming from Sterling Heights, Michigan.
Before retiring he had been a shipping clerk for the Ford Motor Company at their trim plant for 42 years.
He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Port St. Lucie.
Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Valeria Picano and his son, John Picano both of Port St. Lucie; his daughter Maria A. Konopka of Riverview, Michigan; his sister Angelina Petrucci ( the late Antonio ) of Shelby Township, Michigan; his brother, Amadeo Picano and his wife Ida of Livonia; Michigan, Dominic Picano and his wife Brenda of Troy, Michigan and Mario Picano of Detroit, Michigan; his sisters-in-law, Antonietta Picano of Sterling Heights, Michigan and Attilla Picano of Livonia; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter Bernadetta D'Aristotile; his sister, Elvira ( Gregory) Saragosa and his brothers, Saverio Picano and Alessandro Picano.
Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Friday, May 1, 2015 at the Forest Hills Funeral Home, Palm City, Florida with a service in the funeral home chapel at 1:00 pm. Entombment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum, Palm City.
