Obituary of Fred Marino
Fred N. Marino, 85, of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, died December 18, 2012 at the Holy Cross Hospital, Fort Lauderdale.
Born in Mount Vernon, New York, he had been a resident of Jensen Beach for 33 years, having moved from Yonkers.
During both World War II and Korean War he served in the US Navy attaining the rank of Seaman First Class.
Before retiring he had been a Vice President of the Bank of New York, New York City. After coming to Jensen Beach he was the owner of His by Fred, a clothing store in Jensen Beach. He had been a member of St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church, Jensen Beach and the Stuart -Jensen Elks Lodge 1870 BPOE.
Survivors include a daughter Jennifer Fatzinger of Hendersonville, North Carolina; a son, Jerry Marino of Fort Lauderdale; a sister Dorothy Ruggiero of New York and one granddaughter, Allison Rozek and one great grandson, Dylan Rozek. He was preceded in death by his wife Tina Marino and sisters, Ann DeFillipis and Betty Pazoga.
SERVICES: There will be a chapel service at 12:00 noon on December 21, 2012, at the Forest Hills Funeral Homes, Palm City Chapel. Entombment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum.
