Fred Walker Roberts was born January 10, 1936, in Leona, Florida as a third generation native. Fred, fondly known to his friends as Freddie, passed away peacefully in his sleep on November 9th 2023, at Solaris Assisted Care. He was 87 years old.

Fred enjoyed fishing, karaoke, watching Stock Car races and Bull Riding. He was a high school graduate with additional education in Law
Enforcement as Assistant Chief of Police on Jupiter Island for many years. After serving (2) years in the US Army he took to carpentry with his skilled hands making custom cabinetry, furniture and working on building sights.

As an 18 year old he kept the generator running all night so the Famous Hobe Sound BUBBLE houses would not puddy to the ground.
He was an extremely hard worker, loving Father and Grandfather who will be truly missed.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife Helen, step children, Donald Miller and Jeanne Harmon, grand children Justin Jordan, Tonia Wright and Walker White. He leaves behind his daughters, Loretta Helms and Joyce Herb as well as his son-in-law Jimmy Helms, his Grand children, Jarrett Helms, Shannon Sanes, Jayna Harmon, Shelley Whitlock and Dorelan Miller.

A small Celebration of Life will be held at his daughter and son-in-laws home in Jensen Beach on January 13th. Additional information will be forth coming after Christmas.
