Obituary of Garnet Irwin
Garnet G. Irwin, 96, of Jensen Beach, passed away February 29, 2008. She was born September 15, 1911 in Jackson County, WV. She had been a resident of Jensen Beach since 2005, having moved from Uniontown, OH. Garnet had worked at Akron Rubber Company during WWII. She was a founding member of Redeemer Methodist Church in Akron, Ohio.
She is survived by her sons, Thomas Jones of Tampa, FL and David Jones of Magadore, OH; daughter, Judith Lee Hazard of Jensen Beach; seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband Jesse Wilson Jones, and her second husband George Irwin.
Services in Ohio to be announced at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Hills Funeral Home, Palm City.
