Gary D. Holcomb, (82), of Palm City, FL passed away in peace on January 22, 2023.

Gary was born to Edgar and Earline Holcomb on April 26, 1940, in Gadsden, Alabama.  He was a talented high school athlete who loved playing both basketball and football and lettered for three years.  Gary attended Auburn University where he achieved his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and received his commission as an Army Officer through his participation in the ROTC program.  Upon graduation, Gary proudly served in the U.S. Army completing Tank School and Airborne Jump School while attached to the 82nd Airborne.  Following his honorable discharge from the Army, Gary dedicated over 34 years of his career life as an Executive with AT&T working with Army Communications.

Gary was preceded in death by his loving wife Barbara W. Holcomb, of 38 years.  He is survived and remembered by his son and daughter-in-law, Douglas and Dari Holcomb; daughter and son-in law, Lisa and Michael LaBelle;  granddaughter Alexandra (Holcomb) Walker; grandson Ryan LaBelle; and sisters Donna Houston and Carol Holcomb.

Gary's true passion and dedication was to the love and care of his family… especially his grandchildren.  He will be truly missed.

The Memorial Service will be held from 3-4:30pm, on Saturday, 2/4/2023 at Forest Hill Memorial Park & Chapel, Palm City, FL.
