Gayle R. Donato, 73, of Stuart, FL passed in peace on January 22, 2023 surrounded by family.  Gayle will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Gayle was passionate in all that she did.  She served for years as a nurse, showing her compassion and understanding for those in the most of need.  Gayle had a huge heart for all animals.  She was an advocate for adopting and fostering animals.  She had a great love for being on the open road riding motorcycles with friends.  Gayle was an avid traveler and enjoyed traveling in her RV and taking cruises.

She is survived and remembered by her loving husband Fred Donato, her two sons Jason and Scott McKerlie, daughters-in-law Megan and Suzie McKerlie and her much loved grandchildren Mathew, Charlee, Layton, Cameron, Lindsay and Parker.

Visitation will be held from 12:00-1:00 on Friday, February 10 followed by a celebration of life at 1:00.  Services will be at Forest Hills Chapel, Palm City.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Human Society of the Treasure Coast.
