Obituary of George Gemoules

George Gemoules, 87, died Monday, July 16, 2007 at Parkway Health and Rehabilitation Center in Stuart.

Born in Edwardsville, IL, he moved to Port Huron, MI in the 1940s and resided there for 45 years. He moved to Brooksville, FL from Port Huron and resided there for 20 years, moving to Stuart in 1999 from Brooksville.

He was a retired self -employed electrical contractor and was a master electrician.

He was a Navy veteran of World War II.

He was protestant and a former member and deacon at Northside Baptist Church in Brooksville.

Survivors include his daughters, Cynthia Bartels (Ron) of Stuart; Katheryn Dean (James) of Stuart; and Helen Sopha (Roger) of Warner Robins, GA; son, Mark Gemoules (Pam) of Kimball, MI; eight grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Constance and daughter, Carolyn Kelley.

Calling hours will be at 10 AM to 1 PM, Wednesday, July 18, 2007 Forest Hills Funeral Home, a funeral service will follow, beginning at 1 PM on Wednesday, July 18, 2007, with Rev. Carlton James officiating. Burial will be at Forest Hills Memorial Park with military honors by the United States Navy.
