Obituary of George Lenard
George H. Lenard, 85, of Port St. Lucie, passed away May 11, 2009. He was born August 21, 1923 in Camden, NJ. He was a longtime resident of New Jersey. George moved to West Palm Beach where he resided for 10 years, then moved to Stuart, and resided there for 9 years, only recently moving to Port St. Lucie. He was an accountant before retirement. George was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Angelina Lenard of Port St. Lucie; daughters, Georgeann Lenard of Philadelphia, PA, Joan Lenard of Stuart, FL and Carol Meeuwen and her husband Stan of Stuart, FL; and granddaughter, Leisa Meeuwen of Minneapolis, MN. He was preceded in death by his brother, Harry Lenard and sister Marie Carney. Memorial contributions may be made in Mr. Lenard's memory to: American Heart Association.
A funeral service will be held, 10:00AM, Tuesday, at Forest Hills Funeral Homes, Palm City Chapel.
