George B. Robertson, 90 of Stuart, FL, passed away at his residence on Saturday, January 23, 2016 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was born July 9, 1925 to Charles and Mae Robertson in Rockville Center, NY.
He is survived by his beloved wife Mildred, (McInnis), sons: Kenneth (Jane), Charles (Sonia), and John of Berea, OH. Daughters: Earlene (Les) Larson of Westlake, OH. Mary (Bobby) Kritz of N. Olmstead, OH. Margaret Gould of Lawrence, MA. Bernadette (Brian) Mehmed of Strongsville, OH. 21 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren. He was a loving brother-in-law and Uncle to many nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his son George A. and his brothers, Charles, Bruce and Kenneth and his sister, Janet Kantz.
George served in World War II and was a purple heart and bronze star recipient. He enjoyed all sports and was an avid golfer and a good bowler. His family always came first and he was a wonderful loving husband, father and grandfather.
At George's request he was cremated and a service will be held in Ohio at a later date. Contributions may be made to Hospice of Treasure Coast, Stuart, FL.
