Obituary of George Slisz
George Slisz, 78, of Hobe Sound, died September 16, 2013 at Martin Medical Center in Stuart. He was born in Brooklyn, NY and had been a resident of Hobe Sound for 18 years, having moved from Little Neck, NY. He retired from the New York Transit Authority as a Signal Engineer. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, M. Patricia Slisz of Hobe Sound; daughter, Patty Sonsol and her husband David of Wesley Chapel, FL; 3 grandchildren, Justin, Kristen and Michael; Sisters, Mary and Rita and brother, Frank.
Visitation: 1:00PM - 2:00PM, Thursday, September 19, 2013 at Forest Hills Funeral Homes, Palm City Chapel.
Funeral Service following immediately in the chapel at 2:00PM, with Father Jack Barrows officiating.
Entombment will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Red Cross, PO box 4002018, Des Moines, IA 50340-2018 or at redcross.org in George's memory.
