Obituary of George Wormser

George V. Wormser, 92, died on February 13, 2015 at his home in Palm City, FL. His survivors include his wife, Cecilia Wormser, his daughters Valerie Bois and Sharon Moylan and three grandchildren: Mason Bois, Ava Bois and Joe Moylan.

George was born in Chicago, IL; his alma maters include Quigley High School and Mundelein University Seminary. He was a priest, educator and author. He taught at Loyola University and DePaul University in Illinois. Locally, he taught at Barry University, John Carroll, South Fork and Martin County High Schools. George was much loved and respected by his students. He was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Palm City, FL.

SERVICES: Visitation will be from 6:00 to 9:00 PM on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at the Forest Hills Funeral Home, Palm City with a Vigil Prayer Service at 6:30 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Thursday, February 19, 2015 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Palm City. Interment will follow immediately in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City.
