Gerald "Jerry" Petrallia, passed away peacefully on November 11, 2023 at the age of 80.  He lived in Basking Ridge, NJ for many years prior to moving to Stuart, FL.

Born in Irvington, he was the son of the late Gerard J. and Hazel (Thorn) Petrallia.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Beverly Petrallia, and sisters Janet (Bernie) Vella, Doris (John) Reblo, Joyce Petrallia, and Kathy (Pete) Schengrund, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jerry proudly served in the US Army where he was a trained rifle sharpshooter.  He worked in the trucking industry for many years and most recently at Publix in Palm City, FL.  He was an avid golf enthusiast.

Jerry was an extraordinary husband, son, brother, uncle, and friend.  He enjoyed the Florida lifestyle and the country club golf course view from his home, which was his dream.  Jerry will be remembered as a kind, generous and caring man who was loved by so many and will be dearly missed.

A celebration of life will be held on Monday, December 18th at Forest Hills Funeral Home and Memorial Park (2001 SW Murphy Road, Palm City, FL).  Visitation at 10:00 – 11:00am, Service at 11:00am.  All family and friends are welcome.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Jerry's memory to the St Jude Children's Hospital to support cancer research.
