GERTRUDE "TRUDY" A. McKAIG
Age 78, of Palm City, Florida died on Sunday, July 6, 2008 in Stuart, Florida. Mrs. McKaig was born on August 31, 1929 in Philadelphia, PA to Albert and Emily (Volmer) Flinspach. She had been an area resident for 18 years coming from Westchester, PA. Mrs. McKaig was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Palm City, FL.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Harold L. Larry McKaig, Jr. of Palm City, FL, one son Harold L. McKaig III (Karen) of Phoenix, AZ, 4 grandchildren; Harold L. Hal McKaig IV, Betsy, Emily Emmy and Michael McKaig. Also surviving is one sister Hedy (Ernst) Schmid of Warminster, PA.
A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, July 9, 2008 at Forest Hills Memorial Park, 2001 SW Murphy Road, Palm City, FL 34990. A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 12:30 p.m until 1:30 p.m. at Forest Hills Funeral Home. The family requests that in lieu of flowers that memorials be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church, 2655 SW Immanuel Drive, Palm City, FL 34990. A guest registry may be signed at www.foresthillsfunerals.com
