Obituary of Gertrude Talgo

Gertrude Delores Trudy Talgo, 84, of Palm City, died August 8, 2008 at the Treasure Coast Hospice, Harper House, Stuart, Florida.

Born in Yonkers, New York, the daughter of Frederick and Mary Mabie (Reagen), she had been a resident of Palm City for 15 years coming from Fort Lauderdale.

Before retiring she had been a nannie and had cared for 35 children during her career.

Survivors include her husband of 15 years, Walter A. Talgo of Palm City; a sister-in-law Mildred Shad; a brother-in-law Cliff Talgo; a niece Susan Lutz; a cousin Kenneth Fergusens wife Stephanie; a godchild Stacy; beloved friend Jane Lamberson; great nieces and nephews; her beloved pet Cocoa and beloved pet godchild Chelsea".

She was preceded in death by a sister Dorothy Bennett, nephews George and Roger Cabral and her beloved dog "Lucky".

Services: There will be a Memorial Service 11:00 AM, August 14, 2008 at the Forest Hills Funeral Homes - Palm City Chapel.
