IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Gilbert Paul
George
January 7, 1940 – August 4, 2023
Gilbert Paul George, known to his loved ones as Gil, passed away peacefully on August 4, 2023, at the age of 83 in Palm City, FL. Born on January 7, 1940, Gil brought joy to all who knew him. With his bright blue eyes and ever-present smile, he had a way of lighting up any room he entered. Gil had a special talent for making everyone feel comfortable and forging connections with people he met – no one was a stranger to him.
Gil was a devoted family man and cherished his time with his loved ones. He adored his wife of 10 years, Lucy Fyfe, and was a proud and loving father to his daughters, Tiffany and Jennifer. He was preceded in death by his son, Gilbert Paul George Jr. He also had a special bond with his triplet grandchildren, Jack, Annie, and Dawson Morahan. Gil enjoyed staying connected with his grandchildren through social media and kept up with their many activities.
Professionally, Gil was a successful investor in stocks, bonds and commodities. He had a keen eye for the market and was known for consistently monitoring his trades on several computer devices. He enjoyed day trading and the thrill of the stock market. Gil also found solace on the golf course, where he would play with his wife Lucy and at social golfing events. He loved shopping with his wife and daughter Tiffany. He kept up with the latest trends and always found a great deal.
A celebration of Gil's life will be held at a later date to be determined, where friends and family will come together to honor his memory. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Tunnel to Towers Foundation, two causes that were close to Gil's heart.
Gil's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
